Mark took the time to tell me what exactly he was looking for and did not mind if I tagged along. (I wasn't able to be there, but the seller of the house was.) Bill arrived on time (one day's notice!) and was very thorough. The report was excellent and the whole experience was positive. Mortgage lending companies rarely require a home inspection to give you a loan. Some lenders might request an inspection for specific potential problems, though.
